- On my 1084 I use only the front button, which is labeled something like
- RGB/COMP. The button on the back is labeled VCR, and sets the monitor
- into a special VCR mode. Without this set when playing videos the
- colors look bad.
-
- Another problem by the way is that when my Amiga is on, the SYNC signals
- from the Amiga overrides the signals from the CVBS input, giving the
- result of 'screen sliding', ie the front switch does not switch between
- inputs properly. (This phenomena gives rise to an interesting application
- for the Amiga coupled with a 1084 - use it as a Cable-TV decoder.
- Yes, its true. If I feed a scrambled Cable-TV signal into the CVBS port
- and let the Amiga stay on, the signal override descrambles the signal.
- You still have 'screen sliding' though. Anyone able to program the variable
- sync on the ECS-chipset -> send me mail ).
