- Why do you think we got a A500 in the first place!!! Because we couldn't afford
- anything more expensive at the time. If I get a A1200 I can't afford to keep
- the A500, and will (try) sell for the highest price I can get!
-
- The whole problem
- do we keep the A500 and spend what little money we have on upgrading it
- (eventually) to a faster proccessor etc, and make do without the AGA chips, a
- fully 32-bit system throughout, AmigaDOS 3.0 etc OR do we sell the A500, and
- all (or any) hardware that won't work on the A1200, for a faster machine,
- that has a better chipset, BUT uses (as far as I know) a PCMIA (or whatever it
- is called!) for all its major expansions (which at the moment are very expensive
- ) and has a slow IDE hard disk interface which won't allow me to use my SCSI
- hard drive?
