- I use a program called GIFT. It is very quick and has some nifty features
- including auto horizontal scaling, use of appropriate sub-HAM modes when
- possible, filling in of lines in interlace GIFs (this fills the empty lines
- of an interlace GIF with copies of the ones already loaded to allow a more
- visible image), several dithering types, etc.
-
- I find it nearly as fast as TurboGIF (which shows GIFs in b&w) with no
- special features (dithering) on, on my A3000.
-
- It's by Brian Fehdrau of Anarchy Road Software (or so it says :-)
-
- If it's not available out there in FTP land, let me know and I'll post
- it so someone can place it somewhere for FTP.
