  12. I have just started  using the POV raytracer and I am a bit stuck as  to how to
  13. display  finished images on  the  screen. POV uses TGA  format when  it renders
  14. images  but  I dont  have any  software that will  display TGA files. I use  XV
  15. which supports a lot of different file  formats like GIF, JPEG etc but it  does
  16. not support TGA. I have looked at the documentation for POV and it says nothing.
  17. However  on the IBM version of POV it says that you can use two programs called
  18. PICLAB & IMAGE ALCHEMY that will both convert from TGA to GIF. 
  19.  
  20. Will the above two programs run on a SUN SPARCstation to do the  conversion. Or
  21. is there a another way to get POV to output a file format that I can display.
