- I have just started using the POV raytracer and I am a bit stuck as to how to
- display finished images on the screen. POV uses TGA format when it renders
- images but I dont have any software that will display TGA files. I use XV
- which supports a lot of different file formats like GIF, JPEG etc but it does
- not support TGA. I have looked at the documentation for POV and it says nothing.
- However on the IBM version of POV it says that you can use two programs called
- PICLAB & IMAGE ALCHEMY that will both convert from TGA to GIF.
-
- Will the above two programs run on a SUN SPARCstation to do the conversion. Or
- is there a another way to get POV to output a file format that I can display.
-
- Thanks for any help.
