  16. Oh, but you can. :)
  17. You just can't display them on a standard Amiga in 256 colors
  18. (unless you have the New 4000 or 1200 models). What you can do is
  19. load your GIFs into various software pkgs and convert them into
  20. some native Amiga mode, like 16 dithered color hi-res or HAM.
  21. Or you can connect a third party hardware display device to your
  22. Amiga and view them in 256 or more colors, and there are various
  23. hardware display devices that can do this, for various amounts
  24. of money, like DCTV, Firecracker, OpalVision, IV-24, etc. etc.

  26. Your cheapest solution would be a simple software conversion 
  27. program. Your most expensive solution would be an Amiga 4000. The others
  28. all fall somewhere inbetween :)
