- I must say that I've had the opertunity to work with most of the
- Morphing software that is currently available.
-
- Out of all of them I found CineMorph (heh) to be the easiest to use. It
- has a user interface that is very intuitive. Cinemorph also seems to be
- fast and produces very good results.
-
- Morph Plus was very difficult to use. I usually try software out
- initially without cracking open any manuals. I try to install it and
- then work with it that way and this method gives me a pretty good idea
- how good the user interface is and whether or not I'm going to be
- productive with the software. I think it's time for ASDG to get thier
- act together with user interfaces. ADPro was never on my list of great
- user interfaces to begin with but Morph plus is even worse.
-
- Yeah, Morph Plus has lotsa neato features and can probably warp, spin
- and stretch the socks right off ya but man, it's going to take some time
- to figure it out by pouring through the manual religously.
-
- CineMorph was pretty easy to figure without using the manual except for
- rendering to 24-bit IFF files and adjusting the sizes. I think it
- should *SAY* Generate 24bit IFF. I also think that there should be some
- default size settings that can be loaded such as Toaster, TARGA+ etc.
-
- Imagemaster seems to have moved forward with the latest offerings but I
- find it a bit tedious to have that *HUGE* IP file and all those options
- when all you want to do is Morph. I think BB would do better to
- unbundle some of the software they throw into Imagemaster or modulize it
- and sell it off seperately for those who don't want or need the whole
- shebang. It would be nice to be able to have the modules seperate and
- as you purchase more of them, you end up with the entire package..hey
- Ben, you could probably increase your user-base and your profit with a
- setup like this...<grin> How about 5% for the idea <double grin>!
