- Although I may misunderstand you, here we have a program titled xv which loads up
- graphics and can display them in many manners on the screen. Yes, there are many
- progrmas (PD and commercial) that can load up a variety of graphics formats and
- display them.. If you are looking for the unique capability of putting a picture
- on the background, you will have to use something like dropcloth to do it,
- however.
