  13. Although I may misunderstand you, here we have a program titled xv which loads up
  14. graphics and can display them in many manners on the screen. Yes, there are many
  15. progrmas (PD and commercial) that can load up a variety of graphics formats and
  16. display them.. If you are looking for the unique capability of putting a picture
  17. on the background, you will have to use something like dropcloth to do it,
  18. however.
