- <> Next question... what determines whether a font is usable as systems text
- <> or screen text? I've noticed that when I try to change systems, icon, and
- <> screen text on WB, not all fonts are available for the different types of
- <> text.

- < A font may not be taller than 16 pixels, although this restriction will be
- <removed in a future release. Also, if you do not happen to run `term' under
- <Kickstart 3.0, you will be unable to use proportional-spaced fonts for the
- <user-interface.
-
- Well the only CG font that I didn't delete from my WB and that I can use to
- handle the text is LetterGothic and it looks like crap. But it's still
- much better than trying to use the bitmap fonts. Maybe I'll have to dig
- out my WB disk and re-install the fonts. I'd really like to use Times...
- WB will let me but Term won't. I'm using an 18 pt. LetterGothic font and
- the only reason it won't fit on my 24 line hi-res interlaced screen is
- because the line spacing is spread too far apart. I switched to a hi-res
- interlaced pal screen but the screen is gonna kill my eyes one these days
- (I have a 3000 so it's not flickering... don't know what you'd call it.)
- But this is the only way to use the larger font and still get everything on
- the screen.
-
- I'm gonna bring home 2.4a tonight and hopefully my zmodem problems will be
- fixed. Not that I really need it, I use one of the pc's at work to move
- files to disk.
