- I sure hope I'm wrong about this...
-
- After upgrading to 2.04 from 1.3, I backed up my HD using hdbackup from the
- Extras disk. Being a naive user of this application (but in a position to
- know better) I did not verify the save set, but trusted my floppies as they
- came out of the box. After preping and formatting my HD, a restore of the
- first partition worked flawlessly. The second disk of the second save set
- contained a hard error, however. The depth of my problem became clearer
- when I attempted to get around the error to the other 17 disks in the save set.
- I couldn't seem to get bru to seek past the error in the second disk, nor
- could I get it to start at an arbitrary place in the archive. Is there
- any way to do this? Failing some command line contortion around the
- problem, is there a busted bru archive salvager out there? Failing THAT,
- where can I get the bru archive spec?
-
- Thanks for any help,
-
