- I have recently installed PasTeX1.3, Post1.7, and a port of DVIPS on my A3000.
-
- PROBLEM 1:
- I am having trouble with Post and DVIPS. The files that DVIPS generates
- have all of the pages shifted up by about 1.5 inches, so the tops of the
- pages don't get printed.
-
- PROBLEM 2:
- I am attempting to print with a POST on a Star 24 dot matrix printer. If I
- generate the PS file with DVIPS at 300 DPI the bottoms of the letters don't
- print. When I generate the file at 360X180 (the proper resolution for my
- printer) some of the letters are stretched vertically.
-
- PROBLEM 3:
- When I use the font compression option on DVIPS the postscript files
- overflow the stack on whatever I am printing on.
-
- If anyone has any suggestions about how to fix any of these problems, I
- would be grateful. I want to use DVIPS because it allows me to include
- postscript diagrams in my documentswith the psfig macro.
