- Hello World,
-
- I am reviewing FinalCopy II and trying to decide whether to buy it or not.
- It seems to work well on my A3000 and A2500 and the output quality with a
- PS laser is good.
-
- BUT the fonts look horrible on screen. In interlaced display modes they are
- somewhat readable, in non-interlaced modes they look pretty terrible. If
- this was just a preview mode it would be okay, but I can't imagine of editing
- texts for hours or days or weeks with that "quality" of fonts.
-
- Yes, I could use the 150% or 200% magnification to make the fonts look
- better - but then I could only see a small portion of the page (I want to
- see all columns all the time, at least).
-
- HOW do you ppl use FinalCopy? Do you first edit your files with a normal
- text editor which uses a simple Topaz-8 font which is READABLE and then
- load the text into FC and print it out?
-
- Or am I simply missing something?
-
- Any help appreciated. I like FC and would like to use it - but I want to
- see what I'm typing!
-
