- Would somebody care to try out my BaRe and let me know how it compares with
- the commercial software? BaRe is a tape backup utility which uses double
- buffering, knows about links (both soft and hard) and was designed for
- automated backups (can be run by Cron, for example). BaRe v0.40 can be found
- on nic.funet.fi - it doesn't support links but should give a picture of the
- speed and whether it works with a given tape drive (the latest version is 0.76).
