- I can see how multiple file drags might look silly if they weren't done
- well. But what about the following scheme: create a sprite
- representing the multiple files under the pointer and solid-drag that,
- e.g.

- | | +-----+
- +-| | |
- +-| |
- +-----+

- The image on the front file could even be similar to the icon of the
- file originally under the pointer?

- This would get around the problem of dragging huge boxes (or distant
- icons) around.

- The only problem with this is that when the drag starts, the selected
- files which weren't under the pointer would (presumably) just disappear
- (to reappear in/jump to the file stack under the pointer). (Ahh,
- there's a point, do solid drags leave their original icon behind whilst
- dragging? I haven't tried it myself yet.) Perhaps rather than
- disappearing, the selected file icons could be greyed-out for the
- duration of the transfer.
