- Doe anyone know (or care to speculate on) whether and when CC are likely
- to release a fully RISC OS 3 version of Impression.
-
- I know current versions can cope with RISC OS 3 draw files etc... but
- there are a few things I would really like to see in Impression (beyond
- automatic footnotes - which, CC tell me, *are* being worked on):
-
- * Automatic kerning. Now that RISC OS 3 fonts include kerning tables, I
- would really like a word processor that uses these!
-
- * RISC OS 3isms, that I find it hard to live without. e.g. In !Draw and
- !Edit, if you try and resize the window beyond the left/bottom edge of
- the screen, the way it automatically moves the window right/up. Also
- clicking the toggle size icon with SHIFT held down (I think) to resize
- the window to as large as possible still leaving the icon bar visible.
-
- * Lots of bug fixes! - some of which I suspect are due to the
- interaction with the RISC OS 3 font manager...
-
- * Other things, which, at present, I can't think of.
-
- Any comments?
-
- Steffan.
