  11. Doe anyone know (or care to speculate on) whether and when CC are likely
  12. to release a fully RISC OS 3 version of Impression.

  14. I know current versions can cope with RISC OS 3 draw files etc... but
  15. there are a few things I would really like to see in Impression (beyond
  16. automatic footnotes - which, CC tell me, *are* being worked on):

  18. * Automatic kerning. Now that RISC OS 3 fonts include kerning tables, I
  19. would really like a word processor that uses these!
  20.  
  21. * RISC OS 3isms, that I find it hard to live without. e.g. In !Draw and
  22. !Edit, if you try and resize the window beyond the left/bottom edge of
  23. the screen, the way it automatically moves the window right/up. Also
  24. clicking the toggle size icon with SHIFT held down (I think) to resize
  25. the window to as large as possible still leaving the icon bar visible.

  27. * Lots of bug fixes! - some of which I suspect are due to the
  28. interaction with the RISC OS 3 font manager...

  30. * Other things, which, at present, I can't think of.
