- I have been following the Norwich Computer Services / RISC OS 3.10 saga
- with a remote degree of interest, but this month's Archive magazine really
- amazed me.
-
- In the editorial, the editor says that customers should not ring up NCS
- to complain about lack of RISC OS 3.1 upgrades, but should actually ring
- up the Acorn switchboard to complain (and gives the phone number in the back
- of the magazine).
-
- Surely if he wants more upgrades, Mr Beverley should use all his powers
- of charm and persuasion on Acorn (or more accurately, Hugh Symmons), rather
- than making NCS very unpopular by flooding Acorn's switchboard with point-
- less phone calls.
-
- (Later on in the magazine, he states that he hopes to fulfil all orders by
- Christmas! Even existing orders are not expected to be fulfilled until the
- end of November).
