- My 3B1 seems to be running rather hot these days. It wasn't like
- this until I replaced the fan (while replacing the power supply) a few
- months ago. The main reason it is hotter is probably because I'm leaving it
- running all the time now. I was just wondering if the power supply in the
- 3B1 could handle another fan like the one that comes standard with the
- machine. I was thinking about adding another one in the other fan port
- on the left side of the machine. If I do this, would it be better to have
- both fans pulling air through the machine or what? Also, if the power supply
- can't handle the increased load, can anyone tell me the specs on the fans
- that come with the system? I have several of these fans laying around the
- house and it seems a shame to let them sit there while my machine gets hotter
- and hotter. I don't like the idea of coming in from class one day and seeing
- my case melted and warped.
-
- Thanks,
- Chris
