  20. Don't hold your breath.  This idea has been thrown around for almost as long as the
  21. 3b1 has existed.  The reasons it has not been done are many, (so many in fact that
  22. I can't remember a single one, but they are there none the less :-).
  23. I believe that the 3b1 does not have enough virtual space to support BSD, but
  24. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

  26. About all we can do is replace broken programs with fixed ones, one at a time.
  27. And this too has been going on for as long as the 3b1 has existed.
  28. You can help, by picking you favorite broken program and finding a better
  29. replacement, and then telling the rest of us about it.

  31. Note that mail, news, emacs, perl, cc, yacc, lex, cron, (and many others) have
  32. already been taken care of.  So find something new to fix.
