- steve's right -- don't panic. my monitor hasn't died yet, but the
- first thing i'd do would be to replace the capacitor and try it... you
- can always get lucky...
- i was just dealing from my experience with programmers; the software
- types around here are like kids -- you can't let them play
- unsupervised ;^) .
- the gist of my message -- don't wait for _total_ failure; a little
- preventive maintenance is much easier.
