- I tried this once too - you probably used a capacitor designed for
- speaker crossover use, which can't handle the job for the monitor.

- Get a big fat mylar capacitor, and go again. When I made the same
- mistake, I didn't blow anything else out, and the monitor came up
- fine. I hope your luck is as good as mine was.
