- i have completed the repair of the monitor on my 3b1 using the help
- and advice i received from all you kind souls on the net.
-
- please note:
-
- the FAQ is not appropriate for my monitor and for current electronic
- hardware.
-
- for instance: on my component board, the capacitor described as C411
- is labeled C418.
-
- next: the physical layout of the alumninum cage holding and shielding
- the crt and its electronics is different from that in the FAQ.
-
- lastly, current replacements for the 4.7uf 25v C41? require different
- installation information.
-
- by the way: on the aluminum cradle inside my monitor is a paper label
- with the following legend:
-
- CAPETRONIC KAOHSIUONG CORP.
-
- Part NO:DS 1034 Rev A
-
- anyway, all the leters are now the same size, no matter where they
- appear on the screen.
-
- again thanks to everyone who contributed.
