- I am looking for an ability to enter kana & kanji text in Unix with X11R5 for
- message catalogs. These are my questions:
-
- Qs1. How to make xterm or kterm accept kana/kanji font, and i.e. provide
- an ability for keyboard mapping to enter text, for example:
-
- kterm -fn *kana14 &
- or
- xterm -fn *8x16romankana &
-
- does NOT work. It substitutes the requested font with a normal same size
- courier font.
-
- Qs2. What is the corresponding non-proportional kana font to X11 system
- font "fixed"?
-
- Qs3. Does anyone know tools for editing kana & kanji text and printing
- files with it in the specified above environment?
-
- Thx to everyone!
