  45. I know of a few packages for running batch queues on a UNIX machine. 
  46. One is called NQS (Network Queuing System).  It was originally written
  47. for NASA by Sterling Software, but it has made its way around the world
  48. a few times now.  Unfortunately I don't have a copy, or I'd send it to
  49. you.

  51. Another is DQS, written by a fellow named Tom Green at Florida State
  52. University, and available via anonymous ftp.  Again, I'd send it if 
  53. I had it.

  66. I have found nqs and installed it.  Is does have all the features
  67. that we want but I haven't succeeded in having them all work yet.
  68. I can make batch and pipe queues work - but not with routing
  69. from one machine to another.  I do hope that it will work after I
  70. have studied the system some more.

  72. It seems that DQS still is a beta version so I haven't looked more
  73. into that.
