  13.  I'm about to purchase a FAX modem and I'd like to know if anybody has some 
  14. software that enables me to receive both FAX and modem-logins.  It ought to be
  15. possible to write some program that runs as 'getty' on /dev/ttya (or whatever)
  16. and accepts incoming calls and checks whether it's a FAX or not.

  18. In any case the getty source sure would help ...
