  33. There's obviously some ambiguity here.  The statement "You can use this
  34. for free for one week" certainly carries the strong suggestion that it
  35. will cost you to use it after that, but then he explictly negates that
  36. and says that he considers payment purely voluntary.  I think he might
  37. have been using the phrase "for free" in the sense of "without any sort
  38. of requirement for any action whatsoever" -- not its usual meaning,
  39. true, but then he's posting to comp.sources.misc, not alt.prose.

  41. It sounds like what he's really after is an email dialogue with people
  42. who are interested in Hebrew calendars, with a secondary hope for a
  43. couple of bucks.  Doesn't sound that sinister to me.
