- A standard staff-month is (40 * 52) / 12 hours
- = 2050 / 12 hours
- = 170 hours

- (That's 52 40 hour weeks.) Of that, in the US, assume 80 hours are
- vacation, about another 80 to 100 hours are holidays and personal time.
- Studies suggest that a "good working day" is one in which about 3/4ths
- of the time are spend on work, and not on going to the toilet, drinking
- coffee, smoking -- if it is still permitted -- talking about the
- bodacious new secretary, etc.
