  13. I think that the real dependencies fall in the realm of depending on
  14. troff for indices, tables of contents, footnotes, etc., which would all
  15. have to be done internally if direct PostScript generation (a bad idea,
  16. in my mind, for anything other than line drawings in ATK -- I'd prefer
  17. converting to TeX with some macro package) was adopted.
