- I'm looking for a small, cheap, and light orientation sensor that
- will work with the Miniboard. The FAQ says something about a
- gyroscope w/ RS-232 interface, but $1,000 is over my budget. It
- will be used on a toy hovercraft, so it should not weigh over 2 oz.
-
- I've seen ads for "piezoelectric vibrating gyroscopes," they look like
- they may fit my requirements. What is the power drain on these and who
- makes them? The other possibility is to pull the circutry out of an
- electronic compass. Radio Shack used to carry these but no longer does.
- Has anyone done this before and where can I get one?
