  13. Please forgive me if this is a FAQ, but:

  15. Recently, a question has arisen here involving time zones and
  16. Daylight vs. Standard Time.
  17.  
  18. We would like to be able to convert dates and times (in UTC)
  19. to their equivalent dates and times in various time zones, including
  20. Pacific Daylight and Standard Time, and vice versa.  I am wondering 
  21. if anyone out there knows of a source where one can get the *entire*
  22. definitive history of the rules for determining Daylight vs. Standard
  23. Time.

  25. I realize that Standard vs. Daylight is largely an American 
  26. abberation, and that local jurisdictions (states?) are responsible
  27. for determining whether or not to actually make the change.

  29. So does anyone know where one would go to get that sort of 
  30. info?   I would like to write a definitive convertor, if possible,
  31. but any info would be greatly appreciated.
