  12. I am looking for a simple SLIP dialer.  Preferably one that does not require 
  13. device drivers loaded in CONFIG.SYS.  Any suggestions?

  15. Strangely, I tried to write a dialer using QuickBasic.  When I run the dialer 
  16. without the SLIP driver installed (SLIP8250) it works fine.  But when the 
  17. driver is installed the Basic dialer locks up my PC.
