- This should clarify a question that I posted last week:
-
- Does anyone know of a product that would allow me to make a pool of
- modems, which are connected to a UNIX box, available to a number of
- PC's running TCP/IP (Lan Workplace for DOS). Novell netware has a
- product called NACS (Netware Async Comm. Server) that does this, and
- I'm looking for a similar capability w/TCP/IP. The PC's s/b able to
- run a DOS program that talks to the modem as if it were attached to a
- serial port (not just telnet to the UNIX box and use tip). Anyone
- seen/heard of such a thing?
-
- Thanks!
