- We have an old Excelan EXOS205T ethernet card which works fine hooked up via
- thick ethernet cable. We are using the Excelan NDIS driver and J. Doupnik's
- dis_pkt9.dos MAC/DIS to packet driver converter, so we can use Clarkson's
- telbin, ftpbin etc. The problem is we want to use thin ethernet cable, so we
- set the 7 jumpers on the card for thin-net and hook up the coax cable, but
- now we can no longer make a telnet or ftp connection. The board diagnostics
- pass OK and the drivers load. The same coax cable works fine hooked up to a
- different brand board in another computer.
-
- Anyone know what's going on?
