  13. I have some questions on TCP error control.
  14. For common TCP implementations (e.g. SUN):

  16.  - Do we have a retransmission timer for each transmitted 
  17.    segment or one timer for the whole window?
  18.  
  19.  - What happens when the retransmission timer expire? and
  20.    how it is set and reset?
  21.  
  22.  - Does the receiver accept out-of-sequence segments as 
  23.    long as they fit within the receive window? and what
  24.    is the maximum (receive) window size?
  25.  
  26. Any references would help.
