- I am in the process of getting KRB5-BETA2 version working. At first,
- there appears to be some problems with kdb5_mkdums and kpasswd.
- After some code hacking, the memery problems seems to have been
- resolved by initializing alt_key in kdb5_mkdums and applying
- the a simple patched that fix the simple error in kpasswd. However,
- I still cannot get the kpasswd running correctly, the following is
- the error message I got.
-
- Unable to Get Initial Credentials : Server not found in Kerberos database -1765328377
-
-
- Protocol Failure - Password NOT Changed!
-
- It looks like there is some procedure I haven't done before invoking kpasswd.
- Since the documentation is limited and I cannot figure what step did I miss
- ( I had krb5kdc, kadmind both running ). Is there any knowledgeable netter
- can provide some hint on why this is happening?
