  12. Hi! I was wondering if anyone has tried to backup a PC or Mac to an IBM 
  13. mainframe via TCP/IP? If so, how?

  15. I have tried backing up my PC to the IBM mainframe with NFS. The IBM
  16. mainframe involved has Interlink's SNS/TCPaccess TCP/IP software and 
  17. Interlink's SNS/NFS. First, I created an NFS connection from my PC to
  18. the IBM mainframe and tried to XCOPY my PC's hard disk to the designated 
  19. NFS drive (allocated as the mainframe) i.e. XCOPY c: g: /s /e.  It would 
  20. only copy my current directory and nothing more.

  22. Then I tried to FTP my PC's whole hard disk. Is there   way to FTP the whole
  23. hard disk of a PC to the  mainframe? I could only again find a way to FTP  one
  24. directory at a time. I am using FTP's PC/TCP software.

  26. I would really appreciate anyone's ideas or if anyone is doing this, how.
