  22. This is an area of contention between our local Apple folks and "Inside
  23. Appletalk".  According to everything I've read and heard, you are
  24. absolutely correct -- zone names and network numbers are independent.  A
  25. zone can span multiple networks and a network can contain multiple
  26. zones.  A localtalk cable can only have one network number.  I was not
  27. aware that a localtalk cable could have only one zone.  Is this true?

  29. Also, our Apple engineer tells us that zones are not allowed to span
  30. what you call "cable" (sections divided by routers).  I don't see a
  31. reason why not?  Do you have a source for this info?
