- Hi there!
-
- I've a question on submitting print-jobs from localtalk to an ethernet.
-
- The problem is: we're running an localtalk net including one laser-
- printer. Th localtalk net consists of 8 Mac's and they all want to
- use the laser-printer. On the other side we have 4 workstations
- connected to an ethernet and they want to use the laser-printer too.
-
- So here is my question:
- Is it possible to print from the localtalk net to the ethernet, when
- we attatch one of the Mac's to the ethernet, so he can work as an
- printer server for the localtalk net. I've heard about CAP, but I'm
- not shure for what it's able to.
- The Mac containing the ethernet harware should be usable for other work
- while printing to the ethernet.
-
- Does CAP solve my problem ???
-
- Thanx, Sascha
