- I am getting the following erorr message when trying to execute lwpr
- on an Ultrix 4.2 system with CAP 6.0pl125:
-
- abInit: [ddp: 27.85, 40], [GW: 27.85, 117] starting
- open: qe0: Permission denied
- NBPInit: DDPOpenSocket error 13
- NBP nbpFcn: nbpInit not called
-
- On Suns I usually change the group for /dev/nit to kmem and then set
- the sticky bit on the group for each executable I want people to be
- able to run (e.g., lwpr, getzones). I don't know what the equivalent
- device name (like /dev/nit) is on Ultrix systems. This system happens
- to be a MicroVAX-II.
-
- If you can tell me how you set your CAP file permissions up I would
- really appreciate it. Please use e-mail.
