- #Hi,
- #
- #I've got a VaxStation 4000 VLC, with an interactive user limit of 2.
- #I asked for a more extensive limit, and people from local's Digital
- #told me that even they install another VMS license, hardware prevents
- #that the number of interactive users gets over 2. I'm not completely
- #sure, but I remember working in a VaxStation 2000 with a higher limit.
-
- Oh God, not this stupid rumor again.
-
- For the record:
- VAXen can have any number of users that the
- DEC license will allow them. Hardware
- type determines license availability code
- and DEC politically doesn't make D-avail
- infinite-user paks.
-
- You're in Uruguay, so unless you can push your
- DEC sales force hard, you'll have to live with
- it. Of course if you're not concerned about the
- licensing issues, patching the license or the
- system is trivial.
-
- #If anyone knows about the subject, please let me know. Thanks.
