- It depends on the version of Kermit you are using. There are 2 different VMS
- flavours, each of which has production and test versions.

- Kermit-32
- The latest *production* version available from Columbia is 3.3.126.
- This does not support long packets. You can pull off a test version that does.
- I believe the latest test is T3.4.018.

- C-kermit
- The latest production version is 4E(70). This supports long packets but
- not sliding windows. A test version, 5A, is available that will give you both
- as well as a lot of other very useful features (especially when transferring
- from one VMS system to another).

- You can pull either of the production versions from Columbia
- (watsun.cc.columbia.edu) in the kermit/b directory. You can find both test
- versions in the kermit/test directory.
