  14. I never posted a resolution to my question so I might as well do so now.

  16. rlogin from remote hosts to a VMS host running UCX V2.0 currently requires 
  17. one to enter a username and password. I consider this a bug in UCX and, 
  18. apparently DEC does too for CSC assures me that the UCX development team is
  19. working with the VMS team to come up with a fix. They say that VMS authentication
  20. systems, as they stand, will not allow UCX to perform true trusted host rlogin.

  22. I don't quite buy this, since TGV and Wollongong both manage to get this to work.

  24. Regardless, UCX won't do it for another version or two.

  26. By the way, FTP and SMTP seem to be working O.K. since I applied the most 
  27. recent patches.
