  15.     Does anyone have a way to calculate a record size that would fit in a
  16. 1 foot segment of a mag tape (assuming 1/2 inch tape gap).  Given that I know
  17. density, # of tracks and speed of tape drive.  I want to count the number of
  18. feet of tape on a reel and check for parity errors.
