  15. We are integrating VMS Mail and BMEMO (IBM). As a result many general purpose
  16. mails are sent down to VMS users. Also, purely within VMS, mails should be sent
  17. to all users.
  18. Instead of mailing to all these users and duplicating all this information, I
  19. would like to setup a common mail drawer.
  20. I tried already to create a user MEMO to which these mails are sent. Then I 
  21. added this users mail drawer (MAIL.MAI) to the index of all the other users. 
  22. And indeed, with appropriate protections, anyone can select this drawer and 
  23. read the mails in there.
  24. However, I am looking for a solution to 2 problems
  25.   1) Is there a possibility to warn the users when mail arrives in this
  26.      particular drawer
  27.   2) If one user is reading a message in that drawer, another user is 
  28.      inhibited to read the same message
  29. Can anyone give me some hints to solve this ?
