- Hi,
-
- I am comparing machines to run in a multi-user environment. Currently, I
- have considered a VS3100/90 and a VS4000/90. Digital's documentation on the
- two machines shows the 3100 to be the multi-user machine while the 4000 is used
- more for a single user work station. But, looking at the specs I find the
- 4000 to be better in almost every area. My question is: What kind of problems
- will I have if I am running a 4000 with approx. 40 users doing word processing,
- and a little programming. There won't be any X-terminals involved, just
- vt200's or the equivilent.
-
- Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
-
- Thanks
