- I have got a DELL 450DE (EISA bus) with a 3COM Etherlink 16 and a sort
- of IBM 3279 adapter (?) installed. OS/2 is the only operating system (no
- Dual Boot, no Boot Manager). The 3COM Etherlink was configured with
- the !TCM5070.CFG from the 3COM EtherDisk. The settings are as follows:
-
- I/O address = 300
- Interrupt level = 3
- RAM bus address = D0000
- RAM size = 64 k
- ROM base address = C8000
- ROM size = 0
-
- The diagnostic test of the Etherlink already fails during the internal
- testing of the adapter.
-
- In case this problem can be solved soon I might face the next problem
- with our MS LANMANAGER. I am very interested, if somebody else had
- similar problems. Our PC support is working very hard to solve the problem.
- I also presented it to DELL/Netherlands. As soon as I get an interesting
- answer from them which brings me one step further, I let you know.
