  16. What do I have to do to get a pair of MS Windows (3.0/3.1) programs running
  17. on OS/2 1.x or 2.x presentation manager?

  19. To be more specific, I have a set of programs that use a server that
  20. runs on a Unix machine. The IPC I use is LanManager named pipes from
  21. windows to lan mananger on unix. On the PC I have two programs,
  22. one keeps the connection with the server and accepts requests via
  23. DDE. The other implements a UI and gets results via DDE from the other
  24. windows program.

  26. Now I must find out what I have to do let these run on OS/2 machines
  27. I do not know if I am going to use OS/2 1.x or 2.x.

  29. - Are there tools to help me?
  30. - Do I have to port or should it run as is with an extra set of dll's?
  31. - What about the Named Pipe connection?
  32. - Is the DDE mechanism the same (where are the differences)?
