- trick. Or you can try WPSBackup, available from ftp-os2.nmsu.edu. I

- Your modem may not be returning the carrier detect signal properly.
- On most modems this is configured using AT&C2, if I recall correctly.
- (Hopefully you can save that in the modem's nonvolatile RAM.)

- Have you tried Window Washer? It is a lot of fun. Look in
- /pub/uploads on ftp-os2.nmsu.edu. It may get moved soon.

- For a real, basic, no nonsense screen blanker, try ScrUtil18, also
- from ftp-os2.
