- Get the file gnufuexe.zip from directory /pub/os2/2.0/gnu at
- ftp-os2.nmsu.edu . This file contains rm, mv, du, chmod, ls, and
- some other UNIX stuff. (I just got it a few days ago -- I love
- ls and chmod!)
-
- There is a "ksh" alpha for OS/2 (I downloaded it a few days ago but I
- have not had time to install it yet). I'm not an expert on UNIX so
- I don't know how close "ksh" is to "zsh" (I've only used "csh").
- If you think "ksh" is close enough for your needs, then you can try
- ksh47alp.zip in the /pub/os2/2.0/shells directory. Again, this is an
- alpha version. (to avoid public embarrasment, I hope "zsh" is a
- UNIX shell! :)

-
- Me, too! This is probably not an elegant solution, but this is
- what I did to change the colors. Just edit the ansi-color-2 section
- in the file TERMCAP.DAT . I used OS/2's copy-and-paste to copy
- this excerpt from my TERMCAP.DAT .
-
- ansi-color-2|ANSI.SYS color 2:\
- :ti=\E[0;37;44m\E[=7l:te=\E[0m\E[=7h:\
- :so=\E[1;37;46m:se=\E[0;37;44m:\
- :ue=\E[0;37;44m::me=\E[0;37;44m:tc=ansi:\
- :us=\E[0;30;47m:mr=\E[1;37;44m:so=\E[1;37;44m:md=\E[1;31;44m:

- This will use red-on-blue, and black-on-lt_gray for the highlight.
- BTW, it was just a quick hack I did when I got "less" a few weeks
- ago, so this may not be the "best" way to do it.

- P.S. Sorry if this gets posted twice. I dialed-in to a workstation
- but they all crashed when I was typing the post. Thanks to
- MS-Kermit's page-up feature, and OS/2's copy-and-paste feature
- (even with DOS apps!!!), I did not have to retype my post;
- just page-up, copy, page-down, paste, then post!!! Heh, heh...
