- You might have a "zombie" process (a process that Shutdown can't
- remove, for whatever reason; it happens on the best of systems
- occasionally). Simply select Shutdown, then CTRL-ALT-DEL (after the
- disk has stopped churning, if at all). On the next bootup, use
- CTRL-SHIFT-F1 (as described in the OS/2 README file) to prevent any
- open applications from restarting.
