I don't know if you are aware of this .. but I will be the bad guy to tell you anyway.. IBM says very clearly NOT to mix both products. The beta for win3.1 and the GA are 2 distinct products, although they are very similar THEY SHOULD NOT COEXIST IN THE SAME DRIVE....  This was clearly stated in the readme file of the service pack and ALSO in the beta license agreement!! 
  11. Now that I gave you the bad news, on to the worst of all... You can only have one or the other Jim.. either seamless 3.0 or 3.1 in normal video..  I dont want to sound rude. I hope you dont take this the wromg way.

There may even be someone that actually got it working in some computers but not all clones are the same ( like IBM found out very quickly with OS/2 2.0 ) and that's the reason for IBM not to offer fixes for the beta...  If you just hold on for another couple of months You and I will have the win 3.1 in seamless support for the GA!!!!
