- While hacking around with my DOS 5.00 VDM the other day, I accidentally
- hosed my CONFIG.SYS so the VDM won't boot. Now I'd like to be able to take
- the disk image created by VMDISK and turn in back into a floppy so I can get
- things running again!
-
- I tried LOADDSKF just for grins, but it of course complains about file
- format (Hey it was a long shot). Does anyone know how to turn that VMDISK
- image back into a floppy? or failing that, any other way to access the
- image as a file system?
-
- I think I can re-access the VDM by hacking the image's directory with
- BEAV or some such and renaming CONFIG.SYS, but I'd like something I can pass
- on to my less technical users.....
-
- Thanks in advance, as usual please reply by e-mail and I'll summarize to the
- net if interest warrants.
